Select a glass jar, bottle or terrarium to observe root growth.
Fill with fresh water. Use filtered water if tap water is heavily chlorinated or mineral-heavy.
Submerge stems and nodes, keeping leaves above water. Add pebbles for support and aesthetics (optional).
Place in bright, indirect light. Add liquid fertiliser every 4–6 weeks.
Refresh water every 2–3 weeks or when it looks murky.
Scrub to remove algae and maintain hygiene.
